just a quick update:

I've started the process of editing and processing the stories, including the collection of stories in my last post. I'm currently up to ( around ) 46 pages, so I'm going to trawl through the forums to add some more stories. It will probably end up being several pages smaller ( forum gaps get bigger it seems when copying and pasting into word ).

I'm still looking for other stories, else this is going to end up a compendium of nigel_stranges work with a couple of other short stories.

Well, I've not really made any good contributions to the humor on this forum very often, (except for maybe a jab or two at the BA clan), but here's one for the books:

I logged on to the SW server back in April to find SD stolidly defending their asteroid cave in Vonarion. I got an idea.

I declared war on them.

I started by telling them that I had been hired as a mercenary by an anonymous member of the forum, and that my mission was to go and wreak havoc on their base. One "short" trip to riftspace later (during which I rebuffed several attempts by the members of the SD clan to get me to divulge who my "employer" was) and then a hop and a skip to vonarion, I was happily dropping Proxy mines and indiscriminately lobbing FT's into their cave. After gleefully causing complete mayhem for a good while and witnessing the blood pressure of some of their members start to rise, I typed a short, simple message....

"April fools."

Yep. It was April 1st. A few million credits later (for repairs and reparations, you know) and we were all having a good laugh about it.

I was going to offer , but I have to admit I've not had time to read it properly

I'm also now thinking of splitting the book into 3 parts, one strict canon, one pilot orientated and lastly non-canon stories. this should allow me to add some more stories and reach the 88 page mark.

lol, most people are surprised when they see how much i write in my stories, they've all ended up really long since i was 8 and we had to write a story for school. and my origional writing for my GCSE corsework was 6 A4 sides, and that was a short story XD and my stories are getting longer as i get older lol
