Trackir no worky...

Hi there,

Trying out the demo for EL. Found out about you guys from the Jumpgate Evo forums, and the trackir website.

I'm anxious to try my trackir 4. I have head tracking set to ON, and 3D cockpit set to ON. The naturalpoint says that will make it work in "3D cockpit mode" uhh... well, so anyway.

I move my head and nothing happens in game. Green light on the trackir so its not disabled. Works well in other games. I'm thinking there is some enable button I'm missing or perhaps another cockpit mode but all I can find is V and alt-V for other views, and H to adjust hud settings.

Please tell me it's something easy that I just missed! I'd really like to play but don't want to eat up my demo time trying to fix it... so I've been in training mode hoping it is supported in there too...

I can't seem to find anyone talking about trackir not working in this game (just how awesome it is) so I'm assuming I'm a doofball and doing something wrong?

You likely just didn't update the TrackIR software for the game. Evochron Legends is a new game, so you need to update your game profile list for it. Open the program, then click on Update then click on Check for game updates. Verify Evochron Legends is now on the list of games, then launch the game.

anyone got an idea, why my F12 key does not recenter my TR4 view? Head tracking works really good and smooth, but i feels a little ofcentered.

Any suggestions?

I think you have to have your function key lock on, press the button next to F12 on most keyboards or look for the F Lock Key on your Keyboard! Hope this helps!;)

It is the Key that enables and disables your F1 through F12 function Keys, some keyboards have a little led light turning green when this key is pressed!;)

It was either a positioning issue or the Function lock or a combination of both. Just making a lucky guess!LOL:P:P:P

Lol,.....not at all. Think about the tickboxes in the profile. Then you are on the right way....

Duh, I forgot about those, had my Track IR for a long time and had set those tickboxes properly in the beginning and never needed to access them!LOL:P:P:P
