CGW (Computer Gaming World) was the oldest 'old fashioned' print media gaming magazine and will become 'Games for Windows' in a contracted deal with Microsoft. Based on the problems and changes it's gone through in recent years, it may not come as a surprise, but here are some articles you can read to learn more about what's happening to it:

Really? It's gone? Shame... shame really. But I heard some bad stories about it, so it was not really a surprise indeed. Too bad. RIP CGW, I guess... The Power Unlimited referred to them quite some times, so i checked into them a bit every time they referred to something.

Well, it's final. CGW / GFW magazine has officially gone under now. I received a notice that it's been discontinued and is no longer in print... in any form. Their effort to save the magazine, by linking in with Microsoft and GFW, failed.

Times go by, don't they now?

Ah listen to me, I sound like a 20 year old.
