I have been doing testing with AA Vulkan and existing EL mods.
https://www.starwraith.com/arvochallian ... readme.htm
Here is what I have found so far:
- hud - delete the chatbox text file (if you have left it in for widescreens) as it will put a huge non-transparent white square in front of your view.
- music - seems to work fine
- masterchu's hud - every single jpg or png fails (I deleted almost each one individually and re-ran)
- hud cockpit files - work very well (no longer do I need to delete the glass files as I had to in 32bit AA)

I honestly don't think it needs environment modding.....the views are wonderful as they are.

The 'chattext.dat' text file message log placement option should be working for the next update, at least in-game. An additional render target is still required, so potential performance implications can still be a possible factor as with the original DirectX version of the game.

Awesome, thanks Vice!
I found that with Sinbad's Hud only the files with "target" in them work. Since this is all I really wanted I am happy with that.

A few others should work that share the same filenames and folder location (and as long as the \hud folder is placed inside the new game's \media folder). Otherwise, several are for Evochron anyway and are either significantly different or aren't included in the game. But the 'target' set should be pretty much the same.
