Show us your simpit

Post by WhiteFang »

Here is my EL and AA simpit. Using twinsticks. The second button box is used for orders, matching speed and IDS on/off.

I love that I can play either AA or EL with the exact same setup.

btw I just updated my second simdashboard (see other post) for the 2 different AA orders.

Wow is right :) The tablet interface combined with the control panel, dual sticks, and overall layout is quite an amazing setup. I wonder how many device ID's you are using in that configuration? Impressive stuff!

i found a youtube video about setting up the thrustmaster software so that the 2 sticks and throttle show up as only a single device.

the reasons for doing this are so that the stick on the left (t16000) doing the strafing will have a large deadzone and to be able program the hatsticks on it.

the sim dashboard has no id.

the arcade stick, rudder pedals and custom button boxes have ids.

so its only 4 ids.

i run the button box through the joy2key software as i do the custom pinball controller which you can see on the left. btw to use this i simply wheel away the chair and wheel in a small adjustable height table and put the controller on top, play standing up.

i have a mini portable simpit i will show shortly.

i meant to add one more thing - the orange file on the desk.

it has codes eg 802 is energy emitters and 7 are diamonds et al

so with the hud i have i can see from the numbers what i have.
