BSG - Music Pack

Post by Skylee »

Hi guys,

as you can imagine looking at my avatar, I am a big fan of Battlestar Galactica...
well I am in love with the Soundtrack composed by the awesome Bear McCreary.

So I've made a small mod in order to replace the original EM soundtrack (very nice music as well) with the BSG soundtrack.
I've inserted my favourite songs and arranged them with the different game threat level, in order to let the game play the right songs in that particular situation.

I hope you enjoy it :)

P.S.
All soundtrack rights belongs to BEAR MCCREARY => http://www.bearmccreary.com/
and SyFy channel => http://www.syfy.com/

Either we are alone in the Universe or we are not.
Both are equally terrifying.

Old (but necessary) question: Did you get permission to distribute the music?

I just mentioned the proper rights owner like on youtube videos and any other free - noProfit distribution on the net.

I think it's ok this way, or not?

Stuff gets pulled from YouTube unless it's in the public domain. Sometimes it takes awhile ... but eventually it either gets pulled or permission is given.

I don't know Marvin, if you prefer to remove link I can give it by private message to all those who would like to use it.
I don't want to give trouble to Vice and the community :)

If you got it on the internet and it's freely available - especially on multiple sites then I wouldn't worry too much about it since it's for a very limited use.

Yeah, that makes sense. As long as it was free and didn't include a disclaimer (or the disclaimer was in the form of "if distributed - give credit") then (since you did give credit) it's probably okay to post it.
