The quest is available at SeeJay\'s website under "Quests" ... to access the quest, enter the User Name of: Hitch[/align]
- 1. Download Part 1 of the story. It's attached to the bottom of this announcement as a MS Word file. It's also available at SeeJay's "H2GE Quest II" web page as a PDF file (click on the jumpgate and then on the center planet labeled "Part 1").
2. Read Part 1, making note of the word referenced in the line, "Maybe not but it's the word we'll need to use if we want to continue this quest."
3. Using the word indicated in step 2 as the password, download the "H2GE Quest Vol II" file (click on the constructor station at SeeJay's website, H2GE II page).
4. Either:
- a. place the downloaded H2GE "questtext.txt" file in a new folder ... then install the questtextc.txt file using JSGME or
b. pull out any other questtextc.txt ... then take the H2GE "questtextc.txt" file and place it in the main game folder.
6. Read the last Chat message (Inventory Console F3 -> News Console button -> View Last Quest Message button).
7. Follow instructions in the message.
8. Continue following the quest, downloading parts of the story as necessary. Passwords for each part will be hinted at either in the Chat dialogue or in the current part of the story. - a. place the downloaded H2GE "questtext.txt" file in a new folder ... then install the questtextc.txt file using JSGME or
* If you did not complete the first quest, then some of references made in Volume II will probably make little (if any sense). Nonetheless, to accommodate those players who would like to do Volume II without having completed Volume I, you can download the pilot profile attached to this announcement. You can also use the attached profile if you have completed Volume I ... but can't find the corresponding profile.
