Is There No Way to Hide the Flight Clock?

I'm working on a HUD mod but I can't figure out how to disable the flight clock and after hours of searching it seems the question has remained unanswered. I know its nice to know how much time you've logged but I really don't need to see it on the main screen especially in the default location. I've completely removed the top part of the UI and all that remains is the clock standing in my way. At the least I would have expected a no flight clock or hide clock mod or something.

Nevermind I just edited the hudtext.txt and positioned the Flight Timer offscreen for now.
