x-rebirth cockpit

I was wondering if someone had ever seen a cockpit mod
inspired by the one in x-rebirth. Is there someone else
who thinks there should be one. I know it takes a lot of screen
space, but it looks very immersive. Kinda reminds me of
the shuttle cockpit in ALIEN.

And in evochron, we'd have the advantage of been able to look
around (mouse look), as to opposite of x-rebirth, which is static.

It's the kind that would look good for merchant/trading ships,
passenger transport, and picking up a creature that takes out
your crew one by one after bursting out of someone's chest.

Why (in name of god) anyone want some thing related with x-rebug?

Believe me, I wouldn't even play x:r even if someone gave it to me.
I'd be afraid it would transmit it's bugs to my pc and bring it to it's death.
But the cockpit, I think, stands out, from what I've observed.

I think this might be the wrong thread to slag off (even though well deserved) X:R. However, even the critics seem to recognise that it's great eye candy!

This one is the 'do you think the X:R cockpit is cool enough to mod for EM?'

I do think it looks cool and I hope there is someone with the necessary modding skills and interest who might take it on if there is enough positive response in this thread.
