No Fuel and flying away from closest starbase/planet

Is there anything i can do like send out a distress signal or like some reserve fuel system?

just bought the game today on steam and just made my first 251k for sending food supply to a planet that needed it and i thought i had enough fuel for the trip to the station but i didn't so i glided to it and missed it by a long shot D:

You can jump onto MP and ask for someone to find you and give you some fuel. Other than that you if you saved at a different point you can load that save and not lose to much. Worse case you have to delete that profile and start over. Good luck.
