Hey guys,

Well I'm a long time lurker here. I love to check the forums and read up on the game. I've got the basic knowledge of how to fly and navigate but I am by no means an expert and as far as in-game wealth goes I'm struggling just to pay for fuel and repairs hehe.

I'm interested in getting into the multiplayer scene not only to fly with others but to quicken my learning of the more advanced parts of the game. I've read through most of the beginner tutorials but I am still sort of lost on what to do and where to start. That's about all i can think of for now.

Hello How2FoldSoup, Jump onto MP (right click over a server name 2 C who is on) and pilots there can help when needed and asked for. Welcome to the forum and the Sim. Have fun and hope to see you in Multi-Player sometime.

Welcome to Evochron! At the moment it seems like a lot to learn but before you know it you'll quickly get the hang of it, especially if you fly with other pilots on MP. There are lots of skillful and friendly pilots out there. If you see me feel free to give me a shout and we can team up for some adventures (although I'm more of the friendly and less of the skillful!!).

You can also start doing the IMG Quest in Multiplay and ask others for help with the quest! It is a beneficial learning experience!....

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! I'm just glad it wasn't a salvo of missiles hehe.

I had the pleasure of hopping onto MP last night and Cargo showed me around while we silenced some vonari in the local warzone. I can't wait to get back on a bit later and fly some more. I'll see you all in space soon!

You know Busch, that may be one of the best ones yet and I may have to steal it from you

It's also this pilots dream of finding evidence of space soup folding. I swear it exists yet no one really believes me!

p.s. What is this IMG quest?

If you press F3 and then check the News, one option at the bottom allows you to display the last I.M.G. message ... an invitation by the Independent Mercenary Guild (not to be confused with the Guild of Independent Merchants) to accept a quest on their behalf. With one exception, you can do the whole thing in MP ... and get help whenever necessary.

To do the IMG Quest you have to start as a Mercenary! As a Mercenary you can do everything and more then starting as one of the other options like Trader or Racer! You can always switch from Mercenary to a military carreer later after the quest by doing military contracts in one of the 4 Warzones! to gain military rank!....
