Hello Archon, all servers that show up on the list (hit refresh) are open to all pilots at this time. You can right click over a server name and the system will check and list who is on at that time. This helps you if you are looking for a pilot you want to fly with. You can log on and check your ping rate to see what server works better for you also as they are located though out the world. Welcome to the forum and the Sim. Have fun and hope to see you in "Multi-Player" sometime.

That would probably be SeeJay's server ... 'though it would be news to me that he is hosting one. He does host a website chock full of goodies and all of them related to the Evoverse. Were you following Tbird's suggestion when you went searching ... using the in-game Multiplayer search function to find servers?

And, as noted elsewhere, Starport 6 is based in the U.S. and Galactica 1 is based in jolly ol' England, not far from Nottingham.
The HumbleBumbleBees are a clan - we are active in the Galactica Server.
If and when you are looking for a clan to join, we would make you welcome

Although Starport 6 is hosted from the US, and Galactica 1 from the UK, there's really not much difference in terms of connectivity. I am from the States, but I play on Galactica 1 mostly and it plays quite smoothly, so base your choice mainly on the presence of guilds!
I suppose it's PC to refer to any player-sponsored guild as a "clan" ... so as not to confuse it with those rogue (or should I say "rouge" ... since they all show up as red) guilds we so often battle, either one at a time or as contracted. Make no mistake 'though, we at IM do not associate with those rogue guilds ... except on Christmas (peace on Earth ... well, if not Earth then everywhere else).
Yeah, those good-for-nothing snooty Earthlings! They can stay on that rock for all I care! It's just gonna get destroyed to make way for a hyperspace bypass . . . am I right?
I think that already happened. Afterward, of course, the mice had it rebuilt by Slartibartfast. Which is probably why the Earth now has that defense ring around it ... to prevent the Vogon's from repeating their earlier feat of destruction. Live and learn.
