A question about IMG quest 2 location from newbie

Hi everyone,

Absolutely love this game.

Managed to get sucked in to exploring after completing the 1st IMG delivery quest on New Hope and I now have no idea how to find the next one.

I tried viewing last quest message in the news console, but nothing is there.

can anyone help me with the location of the next IMG quest?

I've read in other posts its a race I just dont know where to find it.

Bring up the quest message again. There are two sets of coordinates: one for the sector, one for the in-sector location. They're listed at the top. It's not very far away as I recall.

The message should show up in Chat when you click on the "View Last Quest Message" button in News. If it isn't there, something is amiss. Else, you can try going to SeeJay's website (the link is in SeeJay's sig) ... he has a Help option for the quest listed on the left side of his main page.

Thanks a lot for your help, I've not found it yet though.

checked and not getting the view last quest message to show anything in chat area so I had a look for the co-odirinates from the guide by SeeJAy, but there is no IMG quest at the station where its supposed to be.

I'll see if a restart does anything.

Can mods cause issues with the quests?

Yes, mods can cause issues, depending on the kind of mods you are using and pilot profiles!....Hi and welcome to the game and forum Hose!....Hope to see you out there some time!......

Also when you select a pilot profile in the left hand info panel of the profile it should tell you at how many IMG quest mission you have completed. In your case it should say 1.
If it is not there then there is a problem with your profile or you might have deleted or renamed the profile you used to complete the first mission!.....

or you may be using a different profile

If your profile is using a military ship, you won't see anything about the quest. The only other thing is if your profile already finished the quest.

Cheers for all the advice guys, great community

It turns out it was a mod but i couldn't find which one (I'd installed quite a few) so just did a clean install and started again. going to pick the ones I want and then see which one is causing the error.

hope to catch you out there in the black
