Following someone in MP

Is there a way to follow someone's jump in MP besides manually entering the coordinates?
Also, How do I change a friendly as green?

Thanks

The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair.

If it's an open space jump, you'll have to use the sector location system in the player list.

Clan link with them (manually by using the same clan tag in your callsign, or in-game when using different clan tags by using the numpad - key).

Yes, as soon as they leave sensor range.
