A thank you note to Starwraith Games

Post by fabittar »

Dear Starwraith,

Thank you so much. I understand this is a small independent business. I'm glad you opted to sell your game via Steam, otherwise I might never have played it, and I am SO glad that I found this AMAZING game.

Your game is all about content and depth, and I honestly can't think of that many games with as much depth as yours. It seems complex games such as this are a rare breed these days. Something to do with major game companies being run by suits who think only about profit margins and casual gamers. This also contributes, in my humble opinion, to the general treatment of players as moronic idiots by people who believe games should have shiny graphics and dull, easy to grasp mechanics. These casual games are usually short, overpriced and catered to an audience with the attention spam of a bowl fish.

But to me, learning the steps of a complex game is part of having fun. Your game is superb. The hours flew by so fast, and I can't describe the happiness I felt with every little accomplishment. After about 40 hours of learning the hard way, I can say I'm now a competent fighter pilot, my brand new Phoenix frame is a beatiful trophy to remind me of the hardships I had to overcome.

To cut this short, I hope you keep on improving this AWESOME game, and (I'm guessing) with an increased revenue from sales on Steam, you should have many options on how and what to add to the game. My suggestion? Add more content. Better graphics would be nice, too, but it's not mandatory. At least not for me.

Thank you again,
Fabio.

Welcome to Evochron, fabittar. I enjoy learning new skills myself. There is always a lot to learn! Other seasoned pilots are always happy to share their expertise, too.
