A clan-mate and i were mining on planet.

His save file (which was made on the surface) restores him below the clip plane, and when he tries to fly out he's destroyed. Is there a way of hacking his save file to move his restore point into space (I can fly up and establish a local XYZ in necessary)?

He managed to 'escape'. He spend about 45 mins slowly flying around between the water sphere and the terrain above bouncing off the terrain (and quite often exploding) until he found himself back 'outside', above the ground. I'm guessing he slipped between 2 planes?

This could be a whole new possibility for exploring - especially with a walker

Similar things could happen inside an asteroid cave as well!;)

Don't hesitate to ask Vice for help if something similar happens again.
