Green sign on Nav map by planets
Whenever I'm looking at my nav map, I always see either a green + sign or a cross sign by a planet, what do those signs mean?

These are the planets cities. Places you can dock at.
The bigger one will be the Main city.
If you are far away set a navpoint a little way out from the planet first to jump to.
Don't jump right to a navpoint on a planet or you will explode.
It's usefull to left click the green sign on BOth Front view and Rear view to place a nav point right above a city.

These are the City location markings on planets as MiaZ pointed out! If you have a Navigator you will not explode trying to jump to City but you will not be able to jump to city directely either! Without a Navigator you can jump to a City dock directely safely but you need to learn a special technique and you need to have the exact coordinates of the City dock! Jumping into a planet's atmosphere without the proper technique is deadly!....
