Kill bounties, military ranks.

I'm hoping it's possible to add bounties and perhaps even military rank increases for killing stray reds (or greens) in a system. Bounties could be paid by the faction which has the most control over a system. As it is, there's just no reason to stay and fight most enemies, as it has no long term benefit. The other thought was that killing a certain amount of them would increase your military ranking by a point.
Grinding missions is fun and all, but completing almost a thousand military missions, it can wear a bit thin.
Also, for military rankings, it would be cool if some were worth more military rank points than others, and that you'd see the military rank value on the description of the contract before you took it.

That way people could assess whether that mission was worth their time, or not.

Anyway, this is just what I hope for, but I'd also be interested to know what other players think and feel about it.

Re: the military ranks. Most contracts/missions are worth 1 point per waypoint. So if a military mission states it has 5 waypoints. Then the pilots flying those mission, each receives 5 military points at the successful completion of said mission.

Plus you get one point for every 10 clean kills you make in the contract - but you have to be the one who makes the killing shot to count :)
