Question about merging 2 cargo slots

So if I have a cargo slot of fusn-21 and fusn-24 is there a way to join them together to produce fusn-25 and fusn-20? I.E. for the purpose of producing a class 5 fulcrum jump drive.

Yes, hold the Alt key and right click on one of the cargo slots while you are docked.
