A small request

Hey all, new player here... still getting my space legs in SP but will probably start lurking around in MP soon enough.

Anyway, I regged an account just to make this request, and I hope it is heeded: Please, for the love of all that is holy make stations into safe havens. I shouldn't have to worry about eating missiles from random hostiles while I'm docked. I know i can just go into the station, but this is just silly.

Hi Arkanfel, and welcome to the game and community!

You have probably made your way into Pearl or Thuban, by the looks of things.

Those systems are pretty hostile to each of us, and the baddies will come down on you when they have a chance. Space is a dangerous place! Not to worry, you will be able to manage this soon enough. And when you build your own station, you will receive protection from it, against the hostiles.

At first the NPC's might seem quite aggressive and hard to beat to you. but we have all been there and don't worry, you'll get the hang of it soon enough!

Be sure to enter the station once you dock so you are safe.

Welcome Ark. If you stick it out & not get discouraged, you'll find that this Sim is not for wussses. As a matter of fact you better gear up on your math & science skills, because knowledge of algebra, geometry & Newtonian physics is definitely required. Good Luck Pilot

Also, you can not expect when you drive your Car into hostile territory where every one is expected to be your enemy and stop at a gas station or convience/supply store and not be shot at threatened, robbed, blown up and killed. Yes, it sounds silly but it does happen!......
