Steam name or player name in AM

On Steam I'm "Some Idiot With Retard Strength" but I'll probably use a different pilot name for MP in Arvoch Mercenary. Just a quick question. If I buy AM via steam vs through the Starwraith order page, will that affect my chosen player name in MP?

I think you mean Evochron Mercenary? But nope it doesnt affect, i bought the game via steam and you can type any profile name you come up to

LOL, I have too many games and can't keep track of the names sometimes. Evochron 007 Team Fortress Dead Space Mercenary is the correct name I think.
