any differences on shields?

Hello im a new player and i have a question.

Ive noticed military ships seem to have shields at 10 so if i put the shields to 10 on a civilian ship will they be just as strong?

i took my ferret out with the 10 shields and C3 shield boost and i have tried a Mirage with 10 shields and also a C3 shield boost but the civilian ship seemed to have its shields drop more easily, maybe i just had a harder encounter with the civilian ship i dunno...

Hi Alchonis, welcome to the game and forum!...Hope to see you out there some time!...

There is a difference in Civilian ships between Federation and Aliance built ships in the Armor material. So the shields are only part of the equation. So Shields combined with the kind of Armor and other shield enhancing equipment can have a different effect in protection with different frames!.......

Yea ive noticed a big difference in shield strength it would have been nice if the stats were not hidden from the players so i could see exactly how much i have on one ship vs another.

Which ships would you say are tougher in the shield department, alliance or federation?

It would be in the material used for Armor in Aliance ships which is clasified and not reflected in the Aliance Armor stats!...
