First of all I just wanted to say Hi... This game is part of what made me go back to PC gaming (And buy myself a X52 Pro!) when I realized how much I missed space sims when I read the blurb on Arvoch Alliance on Rock Paper Shotgun. My Credit Card just recovered from the holidays so I just unlocked the full version or Evochron Mercenary and will do the same for Arvoch Alliance soon :)

Anyway, Tought I would share my X-52 Profile with you in order to get some tips and maybe other ideas for keybindings.

Other Question : Do you use the same profile for Arvoch as you do for Evochron or is there some subtleties?

Hello jipi050, profiles for Arvoch and Mercenary are different as they are separate games, if your referring to save game profiles. Thank you for sharing your x52 profile, and I'd like to be the first to welcome you to our beloved community! Also take the time to browse the announcements section as there will be an expansion to mercenary in the near future! :)

Hope to see you in multiplayer soon, Im curious to know what space sims you played before, I'm a huge space game fan myself from starting from the wing commander and freespace series and the mighty Elite. :)

Actually I'm a veteran of Star Trek Bridge Commander (Once fully Modded!), X-Wing Alliance and FreeSpace 1&2. I missed out on Wing Commander when it came out but I picked it up on GOG and I am happy I did!

Also Picked up the X Superbox that was on sale on Steam but I have a hard time getting into it, once you get used to the realistic newtonian physics it's hard to go back!

I agree with your take on X the series, it was more of the arcade space flight model akin to wing commander and freespace games, after experiencing the inertial system in Evochron and how enjoyable it can be coupled with the multiplayer aspect with our outstanding community, its hard to go back to anything else lol.:D

Hi Jipi050, welcome to the game and forum....hope to see you out there some time!...Thanks for sharing your X52 Pro Profile. It looks very good to me, you have all the important stuff covered!....The best way to get comfortable with an X52 Profile is to test it out in Combat PvPs. I myself keep constantly tweeking and changing my X52 profile settings....You have to use what works and is comfortable for you!...;)

 Ah, yes. Good game. Lots of great mods. I never could find one to replace the quirky looking hands, though. Welcome to Evochron.
