Newb looking for a start

Hi all just picked up the game and starting messing around with it. From what I have read so far most folks play multi player. I was wondering should I start there or just play the solo game. One more thing does any have a suggestion on what the best thing to start as is, Merc, trader etc?? Thanks in advance for your advise

play multiplayer every chance you get. There are lots of friendly folks who can give advice/assistance/training help if and when you need it. Odds are if you're looking for something, people will be around to give you clues or come along for the trip.

It's also helpful in case you run out of fuel and are stranded. Some folks love to do rescue missions.

Hi Hitori and welcome! I definitely recommend multiplayer on Remula One. As berighteous said, there are loads of helpful people on there (including the server admin when he's around).

Hello Hitori, What you start as only dictates what equipment you "Start" with. As you progress you can and will change almost everything,ship included, to something better. Welcome to the forum and the Sim. Have fun and hope to see you out there sometime.

Hi Hitori, welcome to the game and forum. Yes definetly multiplay and I recommend you start as a Mercenary and do the quest in MP....
