Unknown system control
I have a question about clan control in multiplayer. How does clan control work for hidden systems? Not just places like Lost Rucker but the many ones dotted all around space. MM tells me it doesn't show up on the map and I can understand why. But I would like to get confirmation about whether it is possible to control and get income from hidden systems. Does it work the same as any known system but just not show on the map? Are there special rules for it, or is it just not possible?

Yes, you can own any in-quadrant system in the game, charted or uncharted. The control icons will also still appear for uncharted systems just as they do for charted systems. It does work the same.

Coolies, thanks guys. Poor mm, all those missions in Lost Rucker. Is there a way to check the control % for place like Lost Rucker that are off the map? mm didn't know of another method if there is one.
Also, wouldn't the map get very crowded and hard to read if people started getting clan control of lots of hidden systems? There is already a lot of overlap on R1. And does it work per hidden solar system or per distinctly named system? Each hidden solar system is made up of a bunch of distinctly named systems. I guess the same thing applies to kinown space eg Pearl and Oasis have their own clan control stats right?
Btw was is the minimum required % for an icon to show up?

Yes it would. With the new zoom option though, things should stay fairly legible and there are set minimum distances for territory credit to prevent too much overlapping (see below).Also, wouldn't the map get very crowded and hard to read if people started getting clan control of lots of hidden systems? Per hidden solar system 'region'. Regions are generally about 500 sectors across. And yes, right.And does it work per hidden solar system or per distinctly named system? Above 0 (example: 0.1% would be displayed as an integer at 0%).Btw was is the minimum required % for an icon to show up?
