Mining Question
How exactly do you mine, I am a complete noob and have tried the search bar but nothing comes up. it is for the IMG quest I need to get 25 units of X material.. Thanks!

Mining Question
Ah well...
You need a tractor/mining beam, available nearly everywhere. Once you had that installed, you can activate it by holding the "b" key. (Alternatively, you can toggle it with alt-b). To mine, approach a mineable location (like, say, an asteroid) to 150 units of distance and activate the mining beam. You should see red sparks fly while your cargo hold slowly fills.

Mining Question
If I remember correctly, you can mine faster by repeatedly passing the tractor beam across the surface of your target, rather than leaving it in the same place.

LOL.....you can also push your joystick to the side and put something against it so it stays in that position so it keeps rolling and moving in a circle on the astroid and then go get some thing to drink........
