IMG second container

Post by Amanite »

Hi!

I just started to play Evochron and I'm having a lot of fun. Though, I have difficulties to find the second IMG container (containing Exodus missiles on Olympus Theta IIRC). The only information I got is : "it's around -5000Y on the planet". This is actually a line going all around the planet and I couldn't find the shipwreck. I'd like some help or maybe direct coordinates so I can find the said containers.

Thank you.

Can't give you direct coordinates.
The planet is rotating and the shipwreck
with it. Search along the given Y-coord
axis and you should find it. Maybe deploy
a sensor station might help or hiring
a science officer.

Good luck and welcome.

Sometimes you can see the wreck from space if you looks close enough. :) Set a nav point just outside of the atmosphere with a Y-coordinate of 5000. Try to position yourself about where the day-side of the planet transitions to night. ;)

 Deploying a senosr array is currently the easiest way to find pods on the surface. For that specific pod, try deploying the array near the city.

Hi Amanite, welcome to the game and forum!.....It takes a while to find the wreck. Some times you get lucky and can see it from Space!
I usually go down to the planet and fly towards the -5000Y coordinate and once my Y coordinate on the planet reads -5000 I fly around the planet keeping the Y at -5000 and sooner or later you should see the wreck!.....Good luck, and hope to see you out there some time!....;)

 The easiest way to maintain your Y position is to "Set Location" after reaching the intended Y coordinate ... then setting a Nav point while in the "Top" navigation map ... about 1/8th the distance around the planet from your PPOS. Don't use the "Rear" view ... else you'll readjust the Y coordinate.
