Marvin, what [FF]Lazarus said has nothing to do with this forum rule. I think you misinterpreted it.

I'd like to set up another battle ([FF]v[SG]) for next week, depending on who can show up... Sunday the 30th @ 6:00pm GMT/11:00am PST/2:00pm EST. I don't know if I can be there for sure, but would like to go ahead and set it up.

Sorry for the double post, but does that time and date work for clan [FF]?

My work schedule cuts off on Saturdays and isn't up to date two weeks ahead that far. Also, I have summer class on Monday and reports to finish. Not sure if I can make that just yet.

so much for the 'friendly welcoming community . . .'From post: 161944, Topic: tid=8913, author=-splosives- wrote:

I'd love to discuss how doing things in a game is just gaming, but I've never understood that concept... at least, I haven't yet. I think I might be learning quite quickly.
Anyway... back to the point... I haven't seen [FF] members online, so can [SG] assume that we've won the battle? Or that [FF] is a dying clan that is incapable of fighting a group of pilots that are still in dire need of training? Just was wondering...

We'll fight if we have to. I can't promise large numbers though. From post: 163038, Topic: tid=8913, author=Cindy wrote: Anyway... back to the point... *Cough cough* "It's so cold" *Cough cough* He said as his broken body twisted in upon itself and buckled violently on the ground. "Oh fate!" *Cough "Oh cruel fate, where did we go wrong?" He coughs some more, his chest rises and drops quickly. Now laying on his back, his legs were bent at the knees and kicked at the ground as if he had somewhere to go. His arms searched around for anything of comfort. His eyes look upwards to the sky. In his eyes the sky turns the color of red. Slowly he rocks his head back and forth, left and right. His mouth opening and closing, like a fish out of water, savoring every last breath. His body then goes rigid; his arms and legs are straightened outwards. He brings both hands to his throat in an effort of preserving his ability to breathe. In desperation he arcs his back, raising his chest upwards; supporting his weight by his shoulders and pulls in long-winded breaths. These breaths soon turn into short gasps, and he can feel the fluid collecting in his lungs. He knows he is not long, with his last breath he reaches one hand from his neck, and punches his clenched fist into the sky and screams with what at all remaining: "Goodbye cruel world!" Coughing up blood, actually more spewing blood at this point than coughing in fact, a gurgling sound can be heard from deep inside his throat, he then rolls over dead.
Well there you have it sports fans: the death of FF!
Now then, I hope that this fiction has adequately satisfied everyone's desire of seeing the FF clan "die" if they so humbly wish. I hope that this tickles you greatly because this is the most gratification you will receive for years to come!
P.S.
Dear Cindy,
Sunday is fine for me, don't know if many on FF may be able to make it. Perhaps we could do Sunday and another day of the week perhaps? So that: people who can't show up Sunday, may be able to the other day and vice versa.
I just wanted to thank you again for setting these battles up! Great work!
P.S.S.
To the community:
I encourage everyone available to participate in the battle and on team SG! It will be a fun time! Be there! I would appreciate being GREATLY outnumbered this time! Thanks.

I come online because I want to for fun. No one has ever told me to come online. I am also persuaded to come online by friends. From post: 163038, Topic: tid=8913, author=Cindy wrote: I haven't seen [FF] members online
I found your challenge very fun and lively before. I wanted to come online for that, and it's 2nd main reasons why some of use grew tired of the current game mechanics, contracts, and territory.
Let's start a challenge with nice things to say, not ugly things. You're challenge was on the right track, but if you derail it by sharing nothing but ugly things, it becomes something else that people are uncomfortable being apart of. I don't want to come online if poo is thrown at the start. Be positive, and I'll want to be there.

How much negativity towards "nasty" guys from FF.
(I wonder where the admins)
I will add 5 cents from Panda.
Shame on you. No longer wish to be clowns and organize performances for the crowd.
Shame on you guys.
on another note.
Splosives I lost a link to your music (reinstall):o

As usual, Panda is the voice of reason. Mr. Panda, with your help, I doubt that I would act half as wild; not that I often consider seeking advisement before hand: I just do things. Bwahaha. I just might need you around don't you know? Also, I miss your antics Panda Man, say hi on TS sometime! Bamboo is standing by. I look forward to hearing of your exploits!Do it!
Edit:
P.S.
Splosives' music is very good. It perfectly compliments my endeavors into space. Though I've given kudos many times I wanted to publicly say 'Great Job" and encourage others to listen to the sweetness.

Even though our numbers were low, the Freedom Fighters did make it at the time of the battle and were ready to fight.
Ready to fight the countless hordes of enemies we were expecting.
But it seems like our enemies decided to not show up.
This was pretty unfortunate, as we were hoping for a nice battle.
nevertheless, we did have a good time discussing tactics, improving our cap ship destroying skills and showing off some in atmosphere maneuvers.
Commander Hawkeye and I together can now kill a cap ship in one pass.
I do hope the next battle will turn out more successful.
Good hunting, pilots.
