I can partially confirm the successful landing. It all played out in Chat ... from the first disasterous attempt to the final touchdown (or hover, ATCMB).

It does narrow down the possible solutions ... to none that I can think of. I don't suppose that nav point tells us anything worthwhile.

Lol, I think if my time consuming ideas fail me this weekend, I may just have to buy a second copy of EM for my laptop for Earth landing experimentation, so I can play while I test...

Also should this weekend prove fruitless, I will be updating my data with these failures. Seejay, DaveK, Marvin, and mikeuk please confirm your interest in landing, if you gentlemen are serious.

[EB] is not a clan, but more the idea of a team effort in solving this great mystery. I would like to keep the team at five memebers, given the need for secrecy involved. Should their be openings on Sunday evening, I shall take any other pilot interested in actively pursuing the solution.

I still have a list of probable ideas, each one taking longer to test than the last, so a team would cut the time down tremedously. I have worked tirelessly the past two months eliminating possiblities and thinking outside of the box. I believe I am on the right track and help would be welcomed.

I'm sure it goes without saying, don't respond if you can't keep a secret. The solution will remain a group secret, to take to our death beds... as it has been said it should be...

I speak with certainty on this matter, because, I will land on Terra, with or without a group, whether it be in hours or months!!!

...lol, anyone feeling as inspired as me

All interested pilots will be sent a link through u2u on Monday evening, to download my exstensive breifing on the matter.

P.S. Seejay, whether you team up or not, I'd still be most interested in your list of attempts

I made a few attempts over the last couple of days (Thursday and Friday) after mulling over all I know about Maars' two successes. Unfortunately, every attempt ended in the usual trip to Valhalla. If you want to know the specifics (no use re-inventing the Wheel of Death), go ahead and U2U me ... I've cleaned out my In and Out boxes.
