OK, just ran the widget and my Win Experience Index is 7.5

My crappy low-end i7 950 is the 'bottleneck', coming in at an average .3 lower rating than the rest of the bits...

I'd imagine that some fiddling with bios settings could address this 'problem' as I took all the bios defaults aside from setting the preferred boot device.

LOL....Nice.....I wonder if one of those $15,000 CPU would get you those extra .3 higher rating..........

So you'r telling me that everything else is at 7.8 out of 7.9 and your CPU is at 7.5?:P:P:P:P:P:P

Yes I like ASUS Motherboards have currently an ASUS P5WD2-E Premium running a Pentium D930 Dual core overclocked at 3.6 Ghz which is giving me the lowest windows experience index of all at 5.2 out of 7.9.....this is an older MB and can not take the duo core quad proccessors. That is why I ordered the newer P5E Deluxe which is actually a Rampage Formula without the LCD Line Poster and without the external CMOS reset button.

MS trying to make me feel bad for not buying the $15000 processor...

Pretty darn happy with the new box!

Now I'm off to test a sound mod in EM...
