Lets hear some interesting ways of programming joysticks.
I'm using a CH Fighterstick and Prothrottle. They can either be programmed as one controller with 6 axis or two with 3 axis each. Nice thing is that this game recognizes it either way. I could literally program all functions into the controllers, but I'm too lazy and it doesn't seem necessary at the moment. I use the little joystick on the Prothrottle for rudder/turn, and the throttle for acceleration. Fighterstick does the pitch and roll. All other button assignments are subject to change. I do like the idea of using the hat/POV/coolie for shield control.... Makes since if you have an IR track device, or use mouselook most of the time.
Ahh! simulated IR head tracking idea. Strap a mouse pad to the back off your head and attach your mouse to the head rest on your chair.
