Head to the upper solar system that are closest to Vonari space. There you will find gates in the direction toward Vonari space that take you to war zones. There is one in Cerulean, Talison, and Sierra.

My guide is a little bit opinionated, but I have done tests

Some like Evoch for the speed, some even like ferret
But by my data The military ships are all great past Wrath because the excalibur missle can fit in there. Avenger shield is much more powerful than Evoch, but evoch can do such things....... its very agile if you know how to use it!

i just found this topic, and well... there are a few points i'd like to disagree with here

A ship not worth taking - partly because of the 4 hardpoints - a Excalibur Class Missle cannot fit inside this small ship. Its better to have a Phoenix!

there are more missiles in the game than an excaliber pack, just because something takes up a lot of resorces, dosen't mean it's better than something smaller, excals lack the range and speed to pe effective against a pilot with good reflexes and a fast ship, their only real advantage is the way they regen.

Even the Ferret is too agile for me,

how can something be too agile? i mean, agility is a ships ability to avoid incoming attacks, you can't suddenly reach a point where you say "oh look, this ship can dodge a lot of attacks, but if it dodges any more that would be a bad thing"

It can go faster than a Phoenix on level 10 engines. Now this is power!

so can a talon, what's your point?

In my experience (Including me as a n00b) many people think that Leviathans are the best hull, and can be upgraded in such ways that they will become almost invincible (Not really)
What I meant to say here is that Military Ships might not be as UB3R as a Leviathan in terms of Armor, that they have another great ability:
The Leviathan might be a Super Tank.... a SLOW one...
Military ships - talking about the heavy military like the "Predator" are just Heavy Tanks... on Rocket Engines! Their armor matches the Phoenix if I remember correctly...

To sum it up - I was trying to say that NO, a Levi is not fast if you get the maximum wing/engine upgrades, and that they are just flying bricks compared to the power of the Military Ships.
My quote in there was a bit tricky I guess (now that I look at it) and lots of things here are opinionated (to me today)
I am pretty sure I had something in mind back then about these ships that I just couldn't explain very well, which is what made me make this guide... I forgot exactly what I had in mind, but I do remember that the experiment which I had conducted with a Phoenix and an Avenger had strange results...
I picked the Phoenix because it can fit LvL 10 shields with LvL 8 engines and LvL 3 wings (Higher not really needed as it is quite agile already) and it fits these perfectly... I classify it as a military ship by the shield output/hull (Other frames do not fit it very well - the hunter is way too heavy for lvl 3 wings and needs lvl 6 or something to match the phoenix, which it cannot fit well)
I guess the Military ships must have had a higher Energy Capacity than regular ships or some high amplifying damage bonus or something...

1. Excalibur missle pack is a popular choice amongst players... especially since we are very limited on how much missles we can carry, people just use it instead of having to buy new missles each time after use.
2. I don't think a Talon can fit lvl 10 engines..... Evoch-C is faster than any other ship in Evochron Legends, period...
