Hey Mec. Best time online is between 7PM and 1AM USA EST. That,s when the max number of players seem to be active.

The one with the people in it (right-click over each listed server name 'till you find one with players).

Mecingo, Starport 6 is your go to server for pvp every night starting at 5pm PST, and Galactica 1 for non pvp activities. Welcome back bro.

I'm having cooling issues running dual monitors with the GTX 480. I really hate playing any game with only one monitor, I'm a multi-tasker at heart. And even though it's too painful for my HB brothers to say it, I know you miss me terribly.

I bought the hyper 212+ cpu fan for my rig, only to discover upon receiving it that it's FREAKING HUGE. Now I'm forced to buy a new Ivy Bridge processor to make proper use of it. Which will mean I have to buy a new motherboard. And new RAM....and a new PSU...taking donations now....

not trying to teach granny (or Twilly!) to suck eggs but when was the last time to vacuumed the dust out of your rig? I fell foull of this once (and once is enough) - I now vac the vents twice a year and the inside annually

I clean it regularly. I just took the fans apart and gave them a thorough cleaning. Re-applied some Arctic silver to the CPU (it runs very cool, ridiculously so) and blew out the entire case. The GTX 480 just has issues running dual monitors. I have to manually adjust the fan speed and voltage as it tries to ramp them up to 3D speeds even with 2D viewing, causing the GPU to run at 70 - 75 Celsius at idle. That's unacceptable for idle speed. I know this card is supposed to run hot, but I just can't believe that's healthy. With one monitor it does fine, idling at 40 - 45 degrees and 75 - 85 under max load. It's a beast of a card. I'm trying to get the settings just right by tweaking them manually, but I was having issues with the clock speed dropping to 450Mhz during 3D operation.

I'm about to fully upgrade this bad boy anyway. Ivy bridge processor, 8 - 16 Gigs RAM @ 2133Mhz, new uber-efficient PSU and a new MB.

Was about to work on our systems tonight when Sinbad wanted some PvP practice.

We had many battles and great fun instead of system maintenance.

Mikeuk will still be in command of HB even if I'm back in Sweden.
I'll be travelling a bit here as well and will fly when able to.

Got a lot to do as well. Just bought a swimming-pool to our kids
and I'll start mounting it soon. (16.000 liters).
Might be a bit tired in the evenings LOL!

Starting a trip to Stockholm in a few days and will visit a big Zoo with Dolphins on the way.
Kids will love it. I was there when I was a kid. (That was a looooooong time ago!)
Might also pop in to a "Wild West" park with shows and all kinds of stuff. (Indians vs Cowboys)

Attention all HB members!

I have returned from my holiday.

Logged on tonight (G1) and found all HB systems way down on % due to lack of maintenance.

I am not interested in controlling systems, so if any HB member wants to control any, please advice me
and I'll keep it in our claimed system log. Otherwise, I will remove all claimed systems.

We (HB) have many members but I only see 3 or 4 (including me) active at all.
I will clean up the member list in 3 days. Those that wants to remain in HB must send a u2u
to me or I'll remove the pilot. The active members now that do not have to notify me are:
- Mikeuk
- Incoming
- Mecingo
- God Demis

All other pilots must report in!

From now on we do not claim any system on any server due to lack of active pilots.

Pilot list will be revised soon as well.

Is my fellow HB clan dead? I look and no [HB] Are on and I try maintenance on systems but doing it by myself get's... tiresome. I'm not good at recruiting but I would like to see it get back on it's feet.

I'm still around, I'm just caught up in RL problems atm. I can log onto the forum at work, but when I go home I have to start my second job. Playing games just isn't an option right now. I can try to jump on from time to time, but I can't get on and do maintenance every day like I was.
Things might change after this weekend though, fingers crossed.
