what is a nav officer good for ?
i see the use for eng, wep and sci but what does a nav do ?

In the beginning he is very usefull for preventing you from making desastrous jumps through planets and astroids......LOL....But after you get a hang of navigation yourself like jumping directly to planet city dock he becomes useless cause he will not follow your orders to break landing protocol procedures....
