Hello and some advise

Hi There, iv'e started out with Evochron Legends and think its great and certainly the answer to the over complexity of X3 integrating the strength of Independance war 2 which was its physics, very fun.

I've just ventured out in Olympus and got my first kills, however I tend to get blown up most of the time and just wondered some advise as to what the best shield and guns to start out with are? as presently have a x2 shield and 2 guns which seem to overheat v.quickly.

Also, crew wise, who would be best to obtain first? (or which role?)

One of the good things about MP is you can join in on missions with experienced pilots for training, protection and a share of the profits so don't be shy.

Most EL vets are forgiving (and sometimes even protective) of new players. First time I ever joined Sky King in multiplayer and promptly fired on a Navy cruiser (turning it red), I thought he was gonna kill me.

But he didn't. Instead, he helped me rack up a fortune in credits (as did Cheops and others, later on).

Yep, multiplayer can be a lot of fun, there where several times I laughed my head of....

Lol, sounds good. I ventured on yesterday very briefly; gonna get on again soon, just buidling up my funds and kits at the mo. Cheers all. What server is the best to start with?

Most players use Babylon 5 Server, when the owner MMagio is around it becomes a talking Server and he will chat with you and welcome all new and old players...
