Busy day i suppose.
Anyways, for anyone interested, i will introduce myself a little.
I got hooked on space sims while playing Elite on the MSX. I just loved it. The game took 30 -40 min to load from tape and if u were unlucky, the damn game crashed just before launching and u had to restart it again and wait 40 min.
But the game itself was wonderfull and it took me a while to find that buzz back.
The x-wing series came close but it never felt 100% right until i came across Jumpgate. A small MMO space sim with a strong focus on pvp.
There i learned that im not a trader, adventurer or miner. I just like to shoot other ppl and npc's. Basicly, if it moves, i shoot it!
I do realize that im brand new to this game and i'll start 'offline' to learn the basics, get familiar with the joystick layout ( still using my trusty Saitek 3D Cyborg Gold ) and train some combat skills.
As a hardcore pvp'er i know that my first MP experiences in here will result in me getting shot to bits 'n pieces.
I dont mind that, it will only motivate me to get better and eventually get even
If u see my out there, i welcome all friendly faces and if you are a pirate, griefer or just need some target practice, no need to be gentle as its only a game and it will only make me better.
Cant wait to crash during speed docking!

I used to have one of those ... 'till I ham-fisted it into oblivion (sometimes, robots just don't know their own strength ... especially in the heat of battle). Here's a pix of me with the Cyborg ... in its better days:
