Any good mouse dogfighters out there?

Just asking. It will be a while before I can get a joystick and I'm getting comfortable with left hand resting on "," and ".".
But I know I'm losing strafe options.

Yes many, to date Eclipse is the best dogfighter out here. Although I hear Jongte is supposed to be better, but I have never fought him yet so can't confirm that Statement. welcome ans hope to see u out here soon.

Easy strafe could be very helpful....

When I've been without a joystick for any reason I have traditionally used w, a, s, and d for strafe controls and swapped q and e with "," and "." to make rolling easier. That way the tab button is never too far from my pinky finger, nor is the space or c buttons from my thumb. Forward and reverse intertials are also nearby.

Mousing is a challenge that's for sure but it does seem a few have mastered it quite well....

I am a mouse dogfighter, but I probably don't count as "good":D

I don't use roll when mouse dogfighting. I rest my hand on WASD for strafing, and in that position the CM, afterburner, and IDS buttons are very close by. Even with my short stint using a joystick, I still used my left hand on the keyboard for thrusting, CMs, afterburner, and IDS as it was much more natural and easier to use than the joystick's throttle and buttons.

The key is to find a setup that feels natural to you and provides you access to all of the needed functions for dogfighting. It is not easy, and most of us keyboard/mouse users end up as space dust more often than not. But, if you persevere, you can succeed. Even with my lousy combat record, I still managed to kill a Terasin and wipe out the BA clan

I'm a pretty good mouse dogfighter. WASD for movement, Q and E for rolling, and the rest of the controls are fine as they are.

I used to be a good dogfighting mouse that is till I got my Track IR and Saitek X52 Controller.
Kept nipping at the dogs till they bled to death! ROFL!:P:P:P:P:P:P:P:P:P:P:P:P:P
