I\'m lost

I can't figure out how to land. I used f1 and right clicked a docking station, which I thought would lock me on that target. f2 has taken me there. I am at the red runway, but can't land. I know it is something stupid but can't figure it out. No doubt I need Evochron Legends for dummies guide.

You need a special Verbs technique to jump directly to a City dock! This is not covered in the manual!

Normal City docking procedure you can learn in the games training session!:P

Hello, you need to alter your altitude either up or down until the landing indicator switchs from red to green. If you use F2 then be sure your heading indicator is at '0' so you are level after the jump and into the station. I hope this makes sence and others may be able to say it better. Good landing.

I meant your Climb/Descent indicator should be at "0" so your ship is level then hit F2.

I don't know how he does it, and in theory it should not be possible, but he does it!

And some others have mastered this technique with the help of Verb. It is a very cool technique but you have to let your Navigator go cause he will not obey your orders to break City docking procedures!LOL:P:P:P

Hey thats not true!

Vice himself declared it possible "in theory" waaay back, there is a thread that describes how its done.

easy way, don't jump straight there, jump near the planet and descend at a speed of under 800 , as you hit the atmosphere you'll be given a docking signal that will direct you in the flight path to land...

As a last note, given that I've jumped several things that previously "could not be jumped" I'd love a new challenge.....

yeah there is a youtube for proof ( http://starwraith.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4144 ), and a guide with instructions ( http://starwraith.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4600 ) on how to do it, in some ways its easier than cave jumping.

I have tried planet jumping and is pretty nice... But Insta-Dock?? I'll have to work harder...
Also have done cave jumping from inside to outside, the opposite seems... no way...

actually that's not a very good example, but again it was the first proof of it being done ( in this case in renegades, but several pilots can do it in legends)

I've hit F2 by accident a few times now when I had meat to hit F1 and all I wanted to do was undock. Of course that causes my ship to get smashed up so have to remember to rebind F2 to some other key.
