So sorry to the admin who might have noticed my last attempted post that was only part title and the rest blank. I was having some serious computer issues that day.
So my story here. Dunno how I came across this game, I downloaded the demo for it onto my machine like 8 or 9 months ago, and never installed it (god only knows why). But My internet was down last week, and when looking through folders in boredom I found the demo. Played it, and the "da hell, i haven't been playing this for months" came out. So right now I'm just learning the ropes of the game and where stuff is. I used to play freelancer way back, and have been playing Eve since freelancer stopped working on my existing computers, SO this is like my favorite genre.
So but around here are there any guides on where to generally find things. I've got an evoch-E (I chose fighter pilot as my choice) with class 4 for most of its equipment. And so far its pretty well unmatched by any other fighters I've come across (can't really do much against capital ships though). But I wonder, is it just fighters and the maybe Millennium Falcon sized transports? Or is it possible to get myself a destroyer or something?
I tried making a miner/trader char also, and I have another question. The coordinates that I'm given in a couple of missions for "mercenary stashes" I go there, and searched around for an hour or so and found nothing. Is that maybe a bug.
Also, though I doubt there'd be any problem with it. Is there rage against game videos of this? (I know some other indie game devs don't like lets-plays quite that much)

You can only buy fighters or other small transports (for civilians). Basically just all the grunt ships. From post: 152060, Topic: tid=10170, author=Linkxsc wrote:So but around here are there any guides on where to generally find things. If you're given stash coordinates, make sure you're in the right sector. There's the sX and X coordinates (and Y and Z, obviously), the former denoting sector and the latter being in-sector location. Once you're in the right spot, you just have to look for a cargo container, which shows up as a purple blip on your radar. From post: 152060, Topic: tid=10170, author=Linkxsc wrote:I tried making a miner/trader char also, and I have another question. Hi and welcome.
If you're talking about making your own videos of in game play, there is no problem.
Several Pilots have done that and continue to do so. Some of them are available on my site.
Catch you later!;)

Tru Story.From post: 152131, Topic: tid=10170, author=Letoras wrote:You have found a diamond my friend......
Just a quick question. I took a look down the multiplayer games list, which ones the most popular server. I saw that there was some clan stuff going on on the first one, but the German one is the only one I met a player on (or maybe Swedish)

Right-clicking on any server name in the list will show you who is currently on that server. If you then log on, press the tilde (~) key to see (upper right corner) where each of the players is located. It's a big galalxy and, if you want to rendezvous with somebody, you need to locate him/her first.

Aha.
Quick other one, I know that [clan] in front of your name is used to make a clantag. Is it possible to use the clan capturing a system in singleplayer?
