Bigger ship, better?

Post by DeathPotato »

I bought Evochron mercenary during the steam sale and so far I have 66 hours in the game.

Right now I am piloting a phoenix, I have 9 million dollars and I have the Mantis Drive,Fuel converter,repair C3, Mining/tractor beam,shield boost X5, Cannon relay system.

I have found a centurion frame at another station, and the description calls it a battleship. I also like to go out into deep space to find stuff, so the centurion could have a bigger fuel tank.

So for combat and exploration, is this good? Is the bigger frame better?

 Bigger ships have more room to carry crew and equipment. Check out SeeJay's section here:

;) It will give you a good idea as to how things mesh together.

Hi DeathPotato, welcome to the game and forum!.....Hope to see you out there some time!.....;)

Bigger frame is not always better for Combat and exploration. It all depends mostly on your skills and knowledge of your ship, weapons and equipment usage and their limitations and advantages!....;)
