Putting Evochron On Steam?

Post by Mecingo »

Do I have to buy Evochron again on steam or is there a way I could put my existing Evochron game on steam? I've had the game way before it was available on steam and just curious about this.

Yup, me too and with the danger of losing the keys, that kind of DRM service can come in handy.

On the other hand updates suffers from some delay IIRC....

It would be good if there is a way without buggin Vice to do that so everyone can pick his option.
Best regards

Sent you an email Vice, this was something I was wondering when it first came up on Steam, but things hadn't quite settled at that point.

I think it's better to get the license directly from Vice. Then, you just need to keep backups of the registration information.

Ah, but this one time, both my hard drive and my backup hard drive died on the same day. What are the odds?

So, keep a backup, but also keep a backup of your backup. Preferably offsite. In a lead-lined fireproof safe. With armed guards to keep it safe.

send it yourself to gmail account

if google servers get all down at same time then it's meaning dooms day and you even dont need your backup anymore :)
