RAYfighter waves at Evochron Mercenaries out there!

Hi guys,

I've just purchased my own licensed copy of Evochron Mercenary and thought like saying hello to the community.

Already wrote email with huge THANK YOU to the developer, and now this is a good place and time to say THANK YOU to you guys. I've got your amazing enivorment graphics, massive capital ship models, using EvoMetrics for GPS haha... and browsing this wast source of info, tips and tricks, and most importantly, catching passion for this game from you all. This forum rocks and I am honoured to becoming a part of it.

I tried to get online more times but never was lucky to see anyone else, until today. I've met 2 guys at one of those 4 publicly visible servers - I believe it was Starport 6 or something like that. Travelled all the way from Sierra down to Sapphire to see them, and we took few fight contracts together. Was amazing to see an ally launching missiles at those red boxes!

Anyhow, I am apparently missing the right IP to connect to and see you guys. And also probably the time of peaks on servers (CET here btw).

There are players from literally all over the world so depending on where you are it can be a bit hit and miss - a good time is evening (GMT/UCT) when USA has finished breakfast and Europe hasn't quite gone to bed!

Not sure when the Ozzies are on though - they have their own server but Bleve is around quite a bit

Welcome aboard, RAYfighter! Lots of friendly people, here in-forum and on-line in Evochron MP-space. There's always someone willing to help. StarPort 6 and Galactica 1 servers are fairly well populated right now. Archy's Place and our Deutchland friends are also fairly active. Even and odd hours of the day or night, depending on your geo-loc, someone else is usually on-line in MP-space on almost any of the posted game servers. Having said that, hope to see you out there sometime!

I have played all those games you listed too, excepct for the 1983 STAR WARS
Starglider on Amiga 500. lol, that one brings back memories.
I loved my Amiga. : ) lots of fun times back then in my life too

Ahh hey Cargo! Glad for seeing you online and thanks for help! Your detailed guide for perfect lining up before the hyperjump made me feel like Han Solo now! Everytime I get out of hyperjump tunnel, with green and blue navi lights perfectly lined up with my Starmaster, I am considering to fire my Navigator!

Oh and your signature made me ROFL!!

MikeUK, I do not recall any space whales in Starglider 1, but I'm sure to hear them singing "Staaaaaargliiiideeeeer...." haha! BTW, screenshot from upcoming EM extension - walker in sights:

Busch, that's exactly what I needed to confirm - servers names. Yea I figured that Starport 6 will be the place to catch some FF fighters. (along with overwhelming contracts such as "estimate number of enemy fighters 92", rofl?) I will also eventually check Galactica 1. Thanks!

Hey dude, saw you today online... Remember i let you destroy me a couple of times ah hahaha... Yeah i know, i got whooped, but keyboard! keyboard controls are quite complicatedish... But from tomorrow i'll be buying a new control pad just for my laptop... So i'll be rquiring a little rematch Rayfighterman!

So starport 6 is where most of you chaps meet up???
