Missing IMG Quest

Olympus (Delta) Planet Olympus Theta main City 1251 0 503 34500 -13500 46500

Hi i landed on this planet some time ago and picked up the quest no problems. i was a noob and capital ship got destroyed so i thought id go and increase my cash and ship elsewhere and come back to it at some point.
that point was yesterday only to find that i cannot find this mission on the planets surface anymore and nor is it in any stations in this sector. Im confused as to why this mission has vanished ?
i have the text for the mission in current mission log about defending cap ship ect at such andsuch cordinates but without finding the IMG Quest to accept it there is no capital ship to defend am i doin somyhing wrong or is it now a corrupt mission ?:(

If you accepted an IMG quest (it had the *** I.M.G. *** label above it) and did not complete the contract, then it should repeat at the same station where you first found it. If the contract didn't have the IMG label, then it was simply a similar mission and either you were at the wrong station to begin with or you didn't cycle through all the contracts until you found the IMG one.

Yes i acceppted the ***IMG*** mission and failed it but upon return to the planet to redo the mission the said ***IMG*** mission dosent exist !
hence the post its dissapered completly when i go to current mission in news it tells me that the cap ship needs to be defended ect but that isnt there either so i assumed i had to repick up the mission on the planet i 1st picked it up on

PS had a game update inbetween starting it and going back to it wonder if this is why i have the fault ?
