If you're thinking about sending people to systems that is not yet published, we are doing it
already. If that's not it, please explain to a slow swede what you're thinking about:P

SeeJay has created images for objects in the new map and i have started to implement them in the map.
Please note that zooming is made by DOUBLE CLICK in each quadrant (not on a actual system) . To open/zoom a specific system just double click that system either on the map or in the list to the right.
Tell your friends about the map .. i need more feedback ! Pictures to small/big?

That is because the zoom is based on capturing all objects in the quadrant that
you zoom in on and calculates the grading of the X and Z scale.
It's actually a decimal figure thats been rounded of and presented as an Integer.
It's MapMan that did the coding, so this is just how I think he programmed it.
If I'm wrong, he will most likely correct me.

Could you please set me up with a connection to your database? I have finally managed to get the program to upload data with a MySQL connector locally so would like to test this with your site!
Like exploring? - Ver. 1.0 (13/02/2011)What is this?

Great news Mate.
I'll leave that to MapMan. He set it up on the server and have the codes/knowledge.
If I interfere with your guys stuff, I'll probably ruin everything!:P

The map is even more frecked up now than before regarding zooming.
There is some zoomhistory that is used when clicking the back button (not the browser one) but it only works when you have zoomed a couple of quadrants down.
I need to sleep so i will fix that tomorrow. My brain is in some kind of stupid-mode.
Thanks SeeJay for the fix with the object sizes. I will spend some work on nebula colors this weekend.
It now takes the sector coordinates in consideration while plotting objects. This makes System zoom WAY better. All objects are separated nicely as they should.
Zoom in works
Zoom out only works as long as your not zooming out from a system. This causes you to end up in the main zoom (universe)

The numbers in the grid indicates the coordinate in the center , so it can be a decimal value. I have changed it to show one decimal if you are zoomed into a system.
This is a really cool map. I've looking at it and imagining how awesome it will be to eventually check all those places out (too newbie to do so right now...).
My question is, how complete do you think it is? I kinda like my space games to be massive. If that's like 90% or more of the undocumented systems, I'll be sad.

worth it - I couldn't manage without EvoMetrics and MapLog open in one and the game in the other!

There are more then 600 planets out there about 650. So there are many more to be found that have not been mapped even if their star system has been found and mapped. So there are still plenty of planets to be claimed for explorers!....

Cool... How does it work though? Like will they show up on the nav map if you get within a certain range of them, or do you have to physically fly through every inch of every sector?
