Having a problem with kill missions

Post by Liette »

First I want to thank everyone for thier help. So far I've had everyone of my questions promptly answered. So thanks.

My problem: I'm doing 7 mob killing military missions in Arvoch Warzone. I warp in, lock on too a bad guy in the middle, reverse thrust & launch a Fulcrum Torpedo (and sometimes die from being too close >oops< ) & kill most or every bad guy on radar. The problem is that the mission doesn't register as completed & there are no more bad guys to kill. I end up going back to cancel mission as a loss.

Any advice?

 Forget the FTs. Log on to R1 and ask for help. Two pilots, working together, can easily take out seven hostiles.

I would love to take you up on the offer. But, I'm married. Therefore, I usually only get to have fun at work. And at work >pause< is a must. Online gaming is a dream of the past for me.

Some missions will not allow use of FT as they want you to learn to fight. Try going back wards and keep your speed a little slower than the nearest RED and fight them one or two at a time as they catch up to you. They will normally follow you so you can use this way.:)

You cannot have fun at home because you are married?

I am married too and I can have fun at work and at home or anywhere else for that matter. :)

Yeah, Nab. My eyebrows raised a bit when I read that. Your trouble and strife won't let you have an on-line computer at home?? That's grounds for divorce - unnatural cruelty! :)

LOL....Guys.....Yes, Fulcrum Torpedo's as Eclipse points out are tricky to use, specialy in war zones and depending on the contract.....the circumstances to use an FT effectively for contracts have to be just right and depend on many factors.....;)
