Yes. It is just a 2 Dimensional Disk. It is made to belief it is a planet so you get your hopes up high thinking finaly a place to rest and stretch your legs. But it is a trap to distract you from your journey....LOL....You can try cleaning it with your tractor beam, maybe then it will become a little bit more shinier....

That makes sense ... and probably why I think I saw Rincewind coming up from the bottom. Unfortunately, it never dawned on me to try and fly underneath to look for the turtle and the four elephants.

I bet the centre point is at 0x, 0y, 0z - Occasionally I've seen random artifacts created at the centre of a sector but I don't know how to reliably recreate it. I think it might be something to do with when you are destroyed?

Check the cords in both pics.......notice the polar cap has moved ......never noticed random artifacts being so nonrandom

Also , Eclipse has seen this planet ,and I see it on 2 different machines and 2 different profiles.
