- You will have 3 min to enter the Cave.
- If you don't make it, you're out.
- Weapons are Hot the second you have passed the entrance tunnel of the Cave. (You must be inside the cave, not in the tunnel).
- All enters the Cave, but only One leaves it.

if you are destroyed and respawn, do not reenter the competition area until Busch declares a winner for the round.
7. Refueling is NOT allowed. Bring a huge gastank.
8. Teaming up is not allowed. This is not a clan vs clan competition.
9. It is not allowed to deploy a repair station.
10. If you end up outside of the Cave, you are out of the competition.

This is a great competition and eliminates some of the problems from the last one. Count me in of course.

SJ, if you like, I'll referee this one as well. And that inlcudes the consent of those participating as well.

SJ,
Please address fueling/refueling/repairing/rearming issues in the ROE's, since they're a bit cut-n-paste from the most recent event.

Re: Taking video footage of LMS competition
pps - it will need some very new tactics - circling, manouvering won't work (not that it does for me anyway ). I need a volunteer to see if missiles work in such a confined space! I strongly suspect that they won't!
ppps: general rule 4 - does it have to be through the entrance?

Missiles will work excelent since your opponent can not out run them unless he has a map of the Cave maze and knows all the wide spaces where you can go fast! Most like he/she will crash trying to out run a missile!....:PFrom post: 116646, Topic: tid=8038, author=DaveK wrote:pps - it will need some very new tactics - circling, manouvering won't work (not that it does for me anyway ). Considering the confined space, Rule No.7 is probably moot. I'll stick with my 800 units ... and, about Rule No.8, all I gotta say is, "Awww, shucks. It would've been interesting to see somebody try it." Other than that, count me in.From post: 116637, Topic: tid=8038, author=SeeJay wrote:7. Refueling is NOT allowed. Bring a huge gastank.

Re: Taking video footage of LMS competition
I'm thinking about Marvins objection to Rule No.8 (Deploy Repair Station)
I agree, it might be fun to see if anyone dares to use it.
Anyone else in for allowing it?

As "we" saw with LMS #1, deploying repair/refueling stations either prolonged the event, or acted like a "death magnet". I support I-Mike's posture on living-dieing by your individual skills and equipment. Trying to keep it fair for all.

Re: Taking video footage of LMS competition
is it really big enough in the sapphire asteroid cave for a deployed station?
Edit: Yes it is! It also looks big enough for missiles as well, though I'm not so sure about 8 excals bouncing around the place!
Sounds like it's going to be fun! Less like "crowded house" and more like "you are in a featureless twisty passageway" - how can I keep an eye out in six directions at once! :P:P

For "run" read "crawl" and I might not be able to "hide" but I sure can easily be "lost"! (left/right dyslexic and cave mazes are an interesting mixture)From post: 116698, Topic: tid=8038, author=Marvin wrote: You can run but you can't hide ... that is, unless we all turn off our HUDs.

This is because we have yet to discover a frame in EM capable of "death blossom" as it is called in the historical film.
