Several times the pilot list has only shown me to be there even though I know others are flying and were on it a few minutes before. When this happens I can carry on doing what I'm doing but as soon as I try something else I get booted.
Last time I couldn't get back onto Galactica and so after three tries, went for StarPort 6 and ended up back on on Galactica (24.255.255.45)!! When I got booted there was Starbuck and another pilot - when I got back I'm all alone!

hey guys. Not sure what all that is about but i do do we had a power surge witch resulted in a 10 min power cut. But should all be back up and running again now. Sorry for the inconveniance

It's happened again - I lost the target list but managed to fly from Cerulean Hidden to TWZ - got dropped when I tried to take a contract
There are two versions of Galactica on the server list (2&6 on mine) with diff times and IP addresses - only one of them works
I've played a total of about 90 mins today and got dropped four times in this wierd way - any ideas??

Today at approx 17:45 gmt pilot Tjj landed on earth and i witnest it. well done tjj. as far as watching him in second person view he did nothing different on approch. he was out of range for me to see him touch down but he did

Dont no whats has happend, but server pc has gone offline. tried to sort it out this morning but i had to get to work. So i will get staight to it when i get home. Sorry guys hate letting you down like this. Oh there are 2 galactica 1 servers showing in the list ........ but they are ghost servers from where i was attempting to re boot this morning.
Not a problem. Us zombies will be at the door to Galactica 1 the moment it's re-opened! And We Will MARCH!:P:P:P:P

Yeah what DaveK said! We all appreciate your participation by running a server. If the server needs work but you need to get to work.... then I think we all support the notion that the server can wait.

Just needs some maintenance is all. Starbuck can't be wired to the server all the time.

Well, after blundering into what I thought was phantom fire (against Starbuck, on another server ... testing to see if the problem might be "universal") and being saved from certain death by Busch, I tried to get back onto G1. No luck. I guess SB is doing a bit more troubleshooting. (Btw, if anybody notices another pilot being targeted by a variety of laser fire coming from far away, make sure you load up on CMs before tracking the laser-fire to its source.)

I now there are some issues with the server. Infact i don't think it has been right since the pc shat itself the other night.
I have tried several re boots but it has made no difference. So after talking to marvin we think the best thing to do is re- install the server program. I will save the station and clan status files. So as soon as i can get hold of mentalparadox who is on his quest for sole i will get him to save and will shut down and delete the server and re install. Hope this works if not the next step will be e mailing vice. and not only that, i miss you guys.......
When I was looking for the edge of the Universe it seems that I broke the clan stats. Dingo asked Vice and Vice suggested that being so far out might glitch the programme. It was suggested that I stop since tracking the problem down wasn't really a good use of Vice's expertise or time. I was only messing around anyway and nothing was really changing beyond 100K so I did stop. (it was boring on SP with no-one to chat to! )
Recently on the threads a couple of pilots have talked about heading for the edge - one is well beyond Andromeda

I still say you should put the server in your truck and map out a trail of hot spots along your route.
