Almost. The one you could not enter was a perpendicular universe ... crossing our universe at only one point in space-time.

Dont no what caused it but whilst i was testing the server one of them just stayed in the list. the ghost server has gone now

Starbuck, did you activate the in-game audio chat lately? 'Cause, last night (Pacific time), things really began to lag in Sapphire.

It's been known to happen. Btw, I didn't see the server listed yesterday (Thursday ... tried during different times).

Edit: See Starbuck's post one up from the one directly above for the reference question of which this post is the answer ... 'though, evidently, delayed long enough for Starbuck to post something in between.

Just a reminder to new pilots that sapphire is a neutral zone. If you attack ships in sapphire it makes it harder for other newbies. If you want to shoot at ai ships go to Olympus prime. Plenty of red targets to shoot at.

Hey Starbuck, I've just started playing multiplayer and I've been using your server, so I just wanted to drop by and say thank you very much for hosting it - I've been having a blast! Thank you also to the other players there, who have all been friendly and happy to answer my embarrassingly noobish questions.

NOT A COMPLAINT

Almost certainly a issue at my end but this afternoon I logged out of Galactica and into Horizons (which had been having access problems). I got into Horizons and there were no clan stats at all and there were no pilots other than me but the heading was Galactica 1. The ping rate was also more typical of Horizons (150-200) tha Galactica (60 -90)

Was I in a dream? Was I in a parellel universe? Does anyone care? Do I care? babble babble babble!

I have seen, when logging directly from one server to another, some very unusual carry-overs. But never did I port over an entire server.

Happened to me also and I rebooted the whole game to get rid of it.

me to . but like thetiebers said ....shut down the game completely before entering another server and this normaly sorts it out

NEWS FLASH......... At approx 1:20am gmt pilot Austin landed on earth on Galactica 1 server. I was a witness as the server and pilot also preasent in sol was rubber chicken subject0 and Captcronic. well done Austin congratulations pilot.

Hey guys, looks like a good server so I'll be logging to it for the time being.
A few questions from a total noob though:
1. How do I get the playerlist?
2. Is in-game voice chat active?
3. Related: I've tried connecting to the TS server, to no avail. Anything wrong with it?
4. How do I check for ping, stats etc...?
5. When I logged in (at AC1) I was swarmed with continuously respawning reds (Guild and Rebels), what's up with that?

I hope to have a pleasant time and see you out there.

A list of players, their locations and basic statistics (including ping) will be displayed in the upper-right when you press the tilde (~) key.

Hi and welcome!

1. As Marvin stated above! (Right click on server to get list before logging on)
2. Some servers have deactivated it. Many players use TS3 instead.
They normally state a channel in the welcoming message when logged on.
3. Are you using TS2 or 3?
4. Press Tilde or scrollock
5. The universe is different in MP since pilots raise systems tech-level.
Better AI pilots might notice that and fly in that system!
Keep your speed up and use inertia to stay safe.
