I've been found and refueled thanks a ton to Viciarg for the fuel and coords I needed
It'd figure my first post would be something like this lmao
my coords in my game are
X 2170 XS 3338
Y 5740 YS 0
Z 997000 ZS -1846
is there any way for me to look up a close planet or station so I can deviate course and hopefully hit something before I run out of gas? I've got 60 fuel left, and even with everything turned off I don't have enough in the tank to coast to the planet I can see in Al's Quay.
I was at hidden pearl getting a platinum mining laser and a starmaster frame, but once I was done I realized I didn't have any waypoints in pearl saved so I went for a bookmark I had in lost rucker. I've developed a habit of saving when I jump since I seem to hop into the side of planets and asteroids quite frequently, so I didn't even think about my fuel until it was too late.
The only thing I can visually see at all is a single planet, but I drifted toward it for 2 and a half hours last night and still hadn't reached it by the time I ran out of fuel.
So, few questions
1- Is there any planet closer to my position than the one in Al's Quay?
2- if we're all going to die anyway, can I fire my crew?
3- is there anything left I can turn off so I won't be using fuel as I drift?
4- Should I start a new game?
Thanks a bunch Love the game

Hi Danshu15.
Als Quay II is the closest system.
You can join MP and another pilot will come and get you.
I'll join MP now and see if you're out there.
Deploy a fuel processor or build a station is a solution to if you have the devices installed.
Joining MP is your best shot otherwise.

Of course, you use less fuel if you set your throttle to zero and engage inertial. Adjust heading with thrusters.

Thanks for the welcome
I was drifting with my engines off to conserve energy and not looking around or anything but I still couldn't make my 40 fuel last long enough to drift to the planet. I set my deadspot for my joystick to 4 in case it was just off a little but I was still using it, so I was asking to see if there was something else I needed to turn off.
Viciarg totally saved my butt
I've seen fuel converters but I don't understand how to use them so I'd skipped picking one up, hadn't even considered bringing a station along that's a great idea
Thanks again I think I'm good to go now!
See you in MP tomorrow or the next day

Ha, just saw the thread here. That was a nice rescue operation, would totally do it again.
Guess that was the best thing I could do after being rescued myself by Dingo few hours before.
